Pineapple Sorbet

Ingredients
Pineapple, 1 Cup
Ice, 1 Cup
Water, 1/2 Cup
Ginger, 1/2 Cup
Agave, 1/2 Cup
Li Hing Powder, to taste
Directions

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pineapple
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup ginger
  • 1/2 cup agave or sugar of your choice
  • Li hing powder

 

Directions

  1. Peel and cube ginger into 1-inch pieces.
  2. To make the ginger simple syrup, combine equal parts ginger, sugar of your choice, and water into a saucepan. Heat on medium high and stir until it starts to boil.
  3. Remove from heat and let steep for 15 minutes, set aside to cool on countertop or in refrigerator.
  4. Peel and cut your fresh pineapple.
  5. To make the sorbet, combine equal parts pineapple and ice into a blender, add agave to sweetness of your preference and blend together.
  6. Top the sorbet with ginger simple syrup and li hing powder, to taste.
  7. Serve and eat right away. Enjoy!
